Men's
“Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
The focus of Men's Ministries is to challenge men to grow in their walk with God and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through biblical teaching, daily living out of God's Word, serving others, building meaningful relationships, evangelism, and fellowship.
Most of us would agree, 'life is busy!' Therefore, we are intentional about our philosophy of ministry to men, in that we encourage men to act on the many opportunities to grow, connect and serve at Glenwood. We believe every man should first attend to his personal walk with Christ and then live out the God-given responsibility to be servant-leaders everywhere we go. To facilitate that, Men's Ministries offers two weekly Bible Study opportunities; our First Things First men's study every Friday morning, and our Saturday morning Men's Group meeting in Battle Ground. We also encourage everyone to join a LIFE group as an important step toward becoming better connected with others at Glenwood.
If you would like more information, contact us via the Contact Us form or call the church office at 360-571-3300.
First Things First
First Things First is a Men's Bible Study and prayer time led by the person preaching each week. The Bible study is a verse by verse inductive study of the upcoming Sunday sermon, followed by a prayer time in small groups. First Things First meets every Friday from 6:00-7:00am in the Library. There is a zoom option available for those not able to meet in person.
