Bryan & Rachel Smith

Bryan and Rachel Smith serve with Wycliffe. Originally they worked in analyzing languages that have not yet had the Bible made available. After working in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, they transitioned In 2015 to Cameroon where Bryan teaches at an international school for missionary children.

Bryan grew up near Chicago, and Rachel (née Friehauf) grew up in Vancouver, and was active with her family at Glenwood. They met at the Summer Institute of Linguistics when both were preparing for global ministry with Wycliffe's translation work. Bryan and Rachel have three sons and a daughter.
