November 8: Parents as Disciple-makers

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 instructs Israel to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might” and to teach their children to do the same. God calls Christians to disciple their  children to know, love, and follow Him.

In this Parent Connection, we looked at parents’ role to disciple their children. We talked about how Glenwood’s Children’s Ministry seeks to support parents in this role, and we looked at resources that help parents do what God calls them to.
