Women's Bible Study Choices for Fall 2024

Precept - Genesis Part 1 & 2

Join us for the fall session of Precept beginning on Monday, September 9 at 6:30pm and Tuesday, September 10 at 9:15am in Room 305 for this 12-week study.

Part 1 - The Creation

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Do I believe this statement that God has revealed in His Book? What does this really mean, and how does it affect my daily life? When you immerse yourself in the Biblical account of Creation, you will be led to know your Creator in deeper ways, increasing your awe of Him. You will also gain insight into who you are in relationship to your Maker and will gain a more complete understanding of your own purpose and how to live.

Part 2 - The Fall, the Flood and the Nations

Adam and Eve, the serpent and an apple?  Noah's Ark and a worldwide flood?  The Tower of Babel?  Are these real or imagined?  Stories or fact?  What difference does it make anyway?  Genesis holds the keys to understanding the origin of sin and evil, the justice of God's judgment, and the mercy of God's plan for the redemption of mankind and hope for a lost and dying world.

Cost of the study is $40* (for Part 1 & 2).

Please click here to register or you can register in the foyer on Sunday, August 25 or September 8.

*Bible study students who are unable to commit to the level of homework level in this Precept Upon Precept Bible study may wish to choose the corresponding In & Out workbook. In & Out Bible Studies cover the same material with less homework required.   Please contact Sally Wallace at 360-901-5145 for additional information or questions.

Women's Bible Study

Join us for our fall Bible study session beginning Monday, September 9th at 7:00pm and  Tuesday, September 10th at 9:15am in the Fellowship Hall* for this 11-week study of Revelation.

Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one.  The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears.  But if all Scripture is God breathed and profitable, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible.  In this study, Jen Wilkin helps you discover how the last book of the Bible speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church at every age.

Cost of the study is $25.

Thanks for registering prior to the start of the study by clicking here, or you can also register in the foyer on Sunday, August 25 and September 8.

* The first week we will begin our time together in the Fellowship Hall, however the following weeks we will begin by meeting with our assigned small groups to discuss the homework and then join together in the Fellowship Hall to watch the teaching.  Small group information will be available on our first day.
