Young Adults

The Calling

The Calling is Glenwood's young adult gathering for ages 18-25. Young adulthood is a stage of life that can be confusing and challenging; wrestling through next steps, forming expressions of faith, and discovering our identity.

We use the name "The Calling" because we want to be a community that learns to listen and respond to God's voice...so that we can become like Jesus. To do that we gather to pray together, worship together, to be shaped by Scripture together, and to be led by the Holy Spirit together. Learning how to transition into adulthood requires a supportive community that knows us well enough to bring gentle challenge at the right time.

We hope this can be a space where you discover who God has called you to be, learning to live that identity out in real time as we serve His Kingdom.

Practically, this means that we gather every Tuesday night from 7-9 p.m. at The House on the Glenwood campus throughout the year for connection, worship, prayer, and studying the scriptures as a community.

Contact us at jamielawson@glenwoodcc.org if you'd like to learn more or get connected.

Directions: As you drive into Glenwood Community Church from 72nd Ave, turn left at the fork in the road as you approach our main building. The road will take you up to the barn. Once there, turn right, and you will find the house where we gather. Feel free to park in any of the open spaces.
